1Medical are seeking the assistance of a GP for Cowra, NSW.

Details as below:

Role: GP VMO - capable of managing approx. 30 presentations daily. Must have completed eMeds training
Role Requirements: Sole doctor On-call 24 hours weekends and public holidays and weekdays from when they leave the hospital until 0730 – no regular relief provided. In cases of major trauma, the local on call GP anaesthetist can be contacted for assistance.
Doctors need to have wide variety of experience in Emergency Departments, capable of managing 30 – 40 presentations per day, working with one FLEC (First Line Emergency Care) trained RN. 3 bed ED (1 x resus bay) has high presentation rate of older people, aboriginal people and the usual acute and chronic medical conditions, MVAs, farm, industrial and sporting injuries, alcohol/drug related issues, chest pains etc.
Location: Cowra, NSW
Pay rate: $4000 per shift, including on-call and callbacks, then on a pro rata basis for part of those hours.
Accommodation: Provided by hospital
Travel & hire car: Booked by agency
Dates: 18/04/2022 - 25/04/2022
- Doctor will be required to be on-site from 1330 for handover and ED presentations and then on-call until 0730 weekdays (then on break 0730 - 1330 M-F). On call 24 hours Weekend Sat & Sun and public holidays.
